It’s effectively no different to a lot of other basic, cheaper 1080p dash cams available without the WiFi functionality. This is extremely disappointing as should the time arise where I need to send a clip to someone immediately- I don’t want to be faffing around trying to get an app to work.Īgain, WiFi connectivity was the most important factor in buying this dash cam, and I’ve been left severely disappointed. The app is abysmal, every time I activate WiFi on the dash cam, and successfully connect my phone to it as denoted by the confirmation on the dash cam- the app does not recognise any devises are connected and instead, redirects me back to settings in my phone. This would not only have saved me masses of time in sending files to authorities immediately from my phone, rather than waiting until I got home to download clips onto my computer, but also the prospect of being able to save all clips to the cloud, thus, freeing up my memory card. The main selling point for me was the WiFi connectivity and file transfer feature which was heavily advertised.

I’m seriously disappointed with the over experience of using this app.
